The Remote Health Branch provides primary health services to remote communities throughout the NT. We supply health and support services in culturally and geographically diverse places - from the desert areas in Central Australia to island communities in the Top End.
There is a commitment in the Remote Health Branch to increase the number of Aboriginal people in the workplace in a range of positions and levels of seniority. We do this by offering career pathways to senior management roles in clinical, program and administrative streams
For clinical staff, we offer a supported career development pathway that has opportunities to move from clinical to management roles. There is a professional pathway for non-clinical staff to move into management roles if they choose.
There are also job opportunities in corporate support and management based in either Darwin or Alice Springs. Many of these positions do not require a clinical background and would appeal to those who have an interest in working in the Aboriginal health field. Both Darwin and Alice Springs offer a relaxed lifestyle for you and your family.
